WOw thos outboards have headers! Bet they sound great.

I have an 04 Johnson 140 FS made by Suzuki back then. Great engine. starts, sips gas, quite at idle, easy to work on.
Suzuki makes good ones and usually cheaper than others.

I would buy extended warranty for any outboard.

Go to youtube and type in the name seven marine. There's tons of videos. I loooooove hearing the sounds of those things cranked up on computer speakers with subwoofer. It's pure mechanical music.

Make sure you're comparing apples to apples.

Here in FL I found the best rate with Boat U.S.. That's never been the case when I would shop around in MD; they were usually one of the most expensive. Go figure.

Whoa.

I'm being quoted about $600/yr. (+/- $50 or so) from 3 diff. providers for a 2000 Cobia walkaround with a 200 Yamaha O/B. That assumes a certain amount of liability, fishing gear and deductibles.
