They are working on the end close to 41 at Tarpon, Orange. Have to run the pipe under 41 at Tarpon to connect to the system across 41.

A few months ago the surveyors were in my neighborhood for Phase 2. They said that the survey company that plotted out the Phase 1 area got the elevations all wrong and they had to be done over. I wonder what the delay in getting that corrected was?

Contractor overbid on the work. Much of the Phase 1 work is being done by the Edgewater contractor. Taking twice as long. Only thing we have seen is that they sent out the big brush cutter to clear the ROW.

Update: they are installing a collection lateral on Orange, running from the roundabout to Tarpon. As a side effect, they turned off the water to our neighborhood for the day. When they turned it back on, water was cloudy, tasted horrible. Stirred up a LOT of sediment in the pipes.

Overall seeing a lot more construction activity. Must be pretty much through with the sewer/water line work on Edgewater.

Working now on Orange east of Tarpon, put in sewer line down to the end of the project yesterday. We have survey stakes down both side of our street, so looks like we are about to have our lives disrupted.
