I am regurgitating a post in FM I placed.

I am 42, male, yes and just now starting a career and will be graduating with my Social Work degree next December. I lived in PG from 2003-2009 and moved to the DFW Texas area and I can't wait to move back down there next Dec. I plan on renting for 1-2 years as I will have a years of living expenses saved up 9I'm not wealthy, have no family, but plan on adopting in a few years though). My field and experience is in child welfare, anyone else move there as a new grad who graduated from out of state? I am just wondering how the social services field job market is there in the SW region? I am sure there is a need for child welfare workers anywhere you go as I was in the foster care system myself and is my passion but would take a SW position in other fields to. Thought?Input? Anyone else a SW or work with CASA there?I Would love to speak or make friends there as I will be coming by myself , love and miss the fishing there, snorkeling w/ an underwater metal detector, beach, etc...
