Yes it is. Hopefully they will pull in another airline. Allegiant does not have the greatest record for aircraft. Or maybe they will start upgrading their aircraft.

Who, or whom? I always get that mixed up.

I recommend, highly, that you do nuthin until going to wherever it is you think you want to move to and cecking it out first. Why anyone would accept a job in a place they have never been to amazes me. If you're contemplating moving somewhere, you HAVE to go there and stay a while to see what it's like first. I mean, that's not really an optional idea. I used to do that and it never worked out.

I did it. Accepted a promotion to Florida, having never been there before. I just knew there was lots of water, lots of boating/fishing and mild winters. Now I had a regional poison that was to enable me to live where ever I could afford or desired. I absolutely loved it more than I could have imagined. Extenuating family circumstance took me (reluctantly) back to AZ.
Mark Twain said it best:

"Twenty years from now you will regret the things you did not do more than the things you did. So sail away from safe harbor...live, discover, dream."

Punta Gorda mostly for old people - North Port is also for younger families and more affordable - there are bars and restaurants - ie nightlife I guess you could call it - Sarasota has more cafes and walkable restaurants and some entertainment - for young single guy I would stay in Tampa - but you can find people like yourself here if you try hard enough

Can you define "old people"? Where we are at in PGI, there are very few what I would consider old. There are not a ton of young kids running around, but most here are middle aged.
