And I'd add Egret and Pathfinder to the front of this list.

Pathfinder would be at the top of my list, which I do own one, but it seemed like sarge was looking for more of an all around boat with more seating.

You are right SeaRay, I'm not looking for a pure fishing machine, needs to have some creature comforts too and high gunnels is part of what I want, feels more secure.

But thanks all for recommendations!

You should take a look at the Carolina Skiff 23 or 24 Ultra Elite.

It not what you think of when you hear Carolina Skiff.

Florida Sportsman Best Boat - Carolina Skiff Ultra Elite 24, Skeeter 23 Bay, Blue Wave 2400 Bay - Florida Sportsman

Wow, nice boat indeed MG, thanks!

I like their products in general and that one has a lot of appeal.

Very interesting that you can access the console/head two different ways. And really like the folding stern seats.

Definitely on my list now.

The 24 is new for this year....they have been making a 23 for about 10 years but the big differences between the two are the 24 console opens both front and side, the rear seats have a tall backrest, it is a bit heavier and draws 9 inches as opposed to 7 inches on the 23.

I think it is one of the best all purpose boats for the waters we have around Charlotte harbor.

I would agree, looks like a great all-purpose boat. That console opening to the front, with privacy curtain, is a great option.

Wonder what their price point is on those...

Hard to tell from the video how much bow flair there is, looked like a decent amount.
