I have been using Good News Pest Solutions for several years now and am happy with their service. I know similar treads have come up on CD in the past and it sounds like there are several good companies out there, so it may be worth doing a search of old threads and getting estimates.

We use Truly Nolen at our home, but there are several companies to choose from. I would get quotes from at least two and then decide which type of service you want and fees involved. There are different types of termite protection and you will also need pest control and then decide if you want lawn control too. I also recommend Good News Pest Solutions as a good choice.

Watch for Fire Ants and get the company to get rid of those *$#)%! psycho things. Our company only does the lawn on our regular bimonthly service but whenever I see fire ants in the garden beds, I'll call them to deal with those. If you see a mound of loose dirt, it'll be fire ants. They're horrible. Step on their mound and you'll be sorry. Dozens of them will crawl up your leg and start stinging you, and you'll suffer for a week. Some people are very allergic to them, so take them seriously.

Try applying ammonia to the red ant bites. It really removes the sting.
