Anyone use them on the lanai, and if so what brand and who installed them?

How did the cost compare to concrete pavers?

Thanks.

I THINK I have seen them once, looked very nice
I THINK they could be very slippery, I have Travertine and its like ice when wet
I THINK they are 21/2-3 times the price of pavers

but i'm not 100% sure

Well, I appreciate the comments. I have no idea how this is gonna go down, you know, the lady is in charge...

But, is there any cost option between concrete pavers and travertine? Is it fair to say the travertine costs double installed over concrete pavers?

Thank you.

We had porcelain tiles on the lanai when we moved in. very SLIPPERY when wet!! Ended up putting runner rugs down to walk on. Had them covered with pavers and been very happy since.

Up in NJ I am seeing more people using porcelain pavers. Porcelain pavers are different then standard porcelain tiles used indoors and are not slippery. Here a link to a distributor in NJ and a comparison: https://www.braensupply.com/porcelai...ncrete-pavers/

Maybe better asking a contractor for some insight.
