Yea i know, but getting them to do it is another story. My neighbor's home was done a month or so before mine and they have an outdoor kitchen by a different builder and it's about 38" which is good so I'm going to show it to them and say "it can be done".

Then take the frame out and cut it down and put it all back in redo the finish on it and stuff. But they should of said something about it being that height, my contract says outdoor kitchen per model and the model one is 36" but it doesn't have a grill, mine does and that is where they are saying it needs the extra height but I think that is b.s.

I have a gas grill and have no problem with the tank under it. I also built a propane fire pit that sits on my deck. I have a propane gas line I bought off amazon that's 10ft so I could place the tank under my deck with easy access. I built the pit to sit on top of the table that is in front of the outdoor sectional coach. That table height is only 13".
