I want to kayak from Little Alligator Creek in Port Charlotte or; and from West spring lake. The map isn’t quite clear so I’m asking those who might know the area. Thanks

Both Little Alligator Creek and West Spring Lake will give you access to the Peace River. It'll dump you out in Alligator Bay near the Port Charlotte Beach Park.

As MikMal stated, yes, both are very accessible to the harbor and river. However, it would be a pretty long kayak paddle east to the 41 and 75 bridges to the river (depending how far upriver you were going). You would want to time it with the tides so you aren't trying to paddle 5 miles against the tide! There are a couple of boat/kayak launches in the Harbor Heights area that have better access to the wider sections of the Peace River. If you really want some good "river" kayaking, put in at Nav-A-Gator. That's fun backcountry up there!

I live on Spring Lake and could not imagine the workout to get from the canal convergences at the beach complex all the way up into interesting parts of the Peace River. There is a ton of interesting kayaking around Spring Lake and East Spring Lake, especially around the park/kayak launch just below East Spring Lake. Google Earth will show all the little skinny connectors behind the main canal.
