We hired IMS. From tear out of existing, concrete seawall, 8000 lbs lift and dock. All went as expected.

Did they give a price per ft on Seawall alone?

Work was done end of 2018. I have a. Breakdown of costs. Install 95 feet X 10 feet deep. Including permit was 24450. This included 2 loads of fill. I think I paid another 600 in extra fill

Wow that price seems pretty good. I have a neighbor that did a similar job but supposedly cost him $90k though that seems unusually high.

I keep hearing about insane seawall prices these days which are pretty scary, usually around $500 a linear ft.

All pricy for those (like me) on a budget. Maybe a combination of rip-rap (to open the access to the water) and a limited seawall, for purposes of docking or installing a lift. Just a thought.

Yeah, It's still pricey. I have an existing sea wall, 255 ft. My problem is some erosion behind the seawall and the top cap deteriorating. At some point I'll have to address it but thinking of the costs make me nauseous.

If I was starting from scratch I'd go rip-rap to save big bucks, plus it looks nice too.

Thanks everyone, I ended going with Honc Marine Contracting. They were approximately $250 linear foot, my wall being 80' long. We added a 30' x 13' dock but are going to holdoff on the boat lift. Honc does not do boat lifts but recommended a company for future.

wall was approximately $24k and the dock added $12K. Both to be installed around May (no rush since our home isn't built yet)

Honc do nice work. They built my brothers wall. They were too busy in Cape Coral in 2018 to even look at my job. And the price seems fair. Good luck
