I been shopping for a bottle brush tree and a smallish palm tree to replace a couple trees that died during the winter at my new place. The tree store between port charlotte and North Port has a good selection but by the time you add tree cost and installation its pretty expensive. There is a nice nursery in englewood that has delivery and installation free if you buy a big enough tree. They have a great variety of plants but there tree selection of trees I want is more limited. Any other places or any suggestions?

There is a really nice little nursery, with a really big supply of all kinds of trees, palms, and flowering plants. Its called Powell's Nursery and its located on Elliott Road in Punta Gorda. If you come into town from PC over the bridge (heading south on Tamiami) turn right when you get to RT 17 (Olympia), then go a mile or so, turn right on Elliott St. They have great prices, and will plant for you as well. The quality of their plants and trees are good.

Thanks, gonna check out Powell's Nursery this weekend. Arbriton's nursery would probably be a bit far to have it delivered, Powell's would be closer.
