Really? Well that will be very interesting to find out. Even more so If they have any SSB radios preferably in the Cobra brand.
Sorry I keep forgetting every time I go there, and i will probably keep forgetting. But there are plenty of Cobras online to choose from. Rubber ducky out.
I recently got my antenna working again after 5 years and its amazing to me how hardily anyone is on it now!!!!!!
I mean when the DX is in there YES there is plenty of activity but locally its quite dead and sad........ Maybe a few people but quite little.... We need a revival or something!!

I don’t think it will ever comeback in the states, however the DXing was always interesting and fun. I do miss those days and had received many QSLs from others that I connected with.
I've have a CB radio on 24/7 for the last several years in my work shed. I do hear occasional truckers talking but no one else.
I drove a semi for a year after I retired. The CB was required for communications with businesses. A lot of businesses will have you park in their lot while they are loading or unloading a trailer and then call on the CB when they need you to hook up and leave.
The CB keeps 5, 10, or some times 15 truckers from cramming into a dispatchers waiting room.
