This is not my story, I play a small part but the pain of anyone losing a beloved pet is always hard, especially when that someone always make people have the "happies".

I met Sergent Sneezy on FB, I follow a rescue, PRM, on FB and they bring back the soldiers pups that they befriend over in warn torn countries. Sergent Sneezy was a sick pup, someone had done something to him and his nose was filled with infection, I believe his whole body was by the time he was in the USA receiving healthcare. PRM made an emergency rescue for Sneezy and his soldier had his dream. His dog was safe in the USA and receiving the best of care, several surgeries, and over a year of medical treatments to try to cure the infection that had taken over his body.

His owners found out that he could no longer fight this infection with the treatments he was receiving, his body could no longer fight the infection and his organs had been hit rather hard with the drugs.

Knowing this they made the difficult, but necessary, decision to help Sneezy over the bridge. That happened this morning.

FB is filled with love for our favorite pup. His page brought love, laughter, and to quote his Mommy "happies". He was a beautiful soul, all one had to do was look at his eyes in the many pictures his Mommy took of him to see his wisdom, love, and gentleness.

I guess I am posting this here in tribute to a dog that many loved, that touched many hearts, and deserved to live a long life. My sorrow is heartfelt for his "human parents", and I will always miss his posts, the freshness and crisp humor that his "Mommy" brought to our lives everyday.

So........today heaven got a hero, and Sneezy can now run free, be pain free, and be with thousands of our beloved pets to bring them "the happies".

Rest in peace dear Sneezy, you will be missed.
