My beautiful sweet 8 yr old shar-pei died today- he had a bad seizure(never had these before) and I rushed him to vet- the vet said it was a sudden stroke

Here is his picture- the best dog-

8 years old is pretty young, his poor little heart must have been under a lot of strain.

Thank you. He was a sweet baby- never fought with the other two (they are more aggressive) I am missing him right now- he was a puppy we got when we lived in Boca- a sweet loving dog who slept next to me every night.

I'm glad you have the other two to soften the blow a bit. I can only imagine how the memories must be flooding back.

It's something we know we'll have to face one day, but it doesn't make it any easier, does it? You didn't have much time to prepare either.

I really thought he'd be okay after he was sluggish the other day - I was hoping it was something minor and he'd get over it .

I know- he was such a sweetheart- my gf told me her Boston Terrier died of the same thing- they had the dog on IV and everything- the vet couldn't really save him.....
