Our sweet Basset, Brandi, crossed the Rainbow Bridge last night. She is once again beside her close companion, Barney, who passed just three months ago. It's really hard losing two wonderful babies in such a short time.

I feel so bad for your loss. We lost our beloved English Mastiff, Fiona and her brother is having some issues.

I'm very sorry. I know how devastating it is, as we lost 2 dogs very close together in 2009. It wasn't the first time a dog of ours had passed, but to have no dogs at all after so many years was a heavy blow. Caring for 2 dogs nearing the end was crushing. I still miss all of them, we talk of them often. But that traumatized feeling is gone, we have 2 wonderful dogs to love, and life goes on, all the richer for the memories we have of them. It takes a lot of time and tears, but the day when you can think of them and smile will come. RIP Brandi and Barney.

Yes, it is tough to lose a pet, then another so soon. Sorry for your loss, but keep in mind all the good memories.

They are now running the great fields of the sky together, happy and healthy, with lots of new friends. My Alixe and Charlie were there to greet them. <<hugs>>

I am so sorry for your loss, they are such great members of our family and when they pass it hurts a lot. We lost our Collie of 13 years on Thanksgiving and still miss him every day. Thoughts, prayers and hugs for you and your family.

I am so sorry. I know how painful such a loss is. We lost our first peke, Sasha, 4 years ago and I still miss her a lot.
Although I love Caesar I wish she was here with us too.
