My Sammy Dog passed away 7-25 at the age of 15. He was on my brother's bed with my brother's hands on him so I think he knew he wasn't alone. I wasn't able to be there since I moved to Alaska which still hurts. I last saw him in April and had a feeling I'd never see him again which turned out to be true. I don't feel like I spent enough time with him then but I don't think any time would have felt like enough.

I miss him so much, every day.

I'm so sorry about Sammy. No, there's never enough time with them. It's good that he had your brother close when he passed, but I understand wishing you could have been there with him too. It sounds like he was a very well-loved boy who must have had a good life! RIP, Sammy.

I am very sorry to hear about your Sammy. He was loved by both you and your brother and I am sure that he had a wonderful life. He is now at the Bridge, healthy and running free. RIP Sammy!

So sorry for your loss. I believe he is now running the great fields of the sky, happy and healthy with lot of new friends. My Pete and Alixe were there to greet him. ((Hugs))
