Today my cat of 12 years was hit by a car. She wasn't hit hard, but took a glancing blow to the head, on her temple right above her left eye. There was no blood & sadly she died in the car on the way to vet.

I adopted Juliet in March of 2001 from a vet on page ave located in Staten Island. I wasn't even looking for a black cat, I was looking at a tabby that was very shy. Juliet was in the cage above her got up & walked over & was like hey, look at me. Right there I knew she had chosen me & that was that. Juliet was 6 months old when I adopted her.

I have had 5 other cats in my life & Juliet was the most loving & easy going out of all of them. She did not have a mean bone in her body. She just loved & wanted love. Everyone who came across her liked her. She would lay on the steps in front on my parents house or on the sidewalk & just watch people pass by & give a meow if she wanted to be pet, She would roll down the street to scratch her body & remove any lose hair.

She would lay underneath the trees in the garden in a nice shady spot & her haor would be come full of sap. So much so whe would need grooming at the vet.

Her companion was Webbs, a cat that myself & Dawn found in 1996 in front of my parents house. When Webbs died at home in October of 2008 Juliet sat by her body all day until my Father came home.

Juliet & Webbs were good friends to my parents, My mother was the reason I left Juliet at my parents house, Juliet & Webbs were all my Mother had he last 10 years of her life. When Webbs died & than my Mother died Juliet was so sad. All she had was my Father. They grived together & comfroted each other.

We will all miss you Juliet. Until we meet again.

So sorry for your loss. I believe she is now running the great catnip fields of the sky, happy and healthy, with lots of new friends. My Buster and Katrina were there to greet here. <<hugs>>

My deepest sympathy to you, what an horrific way to lose a pet. Know that your little baby is up there, at Rainbow Bridge, having a great time, free of pain and anxiously waiting for you.

I'm very sorry for your loss. =(
