Love those photos, especially the second one. He looks like such a sweet giant.
Even when you know you've done the right thing, it is sooooooooooooooo hard. Our beloved animals are at peace, but we are left behind missing them with every fiber of our being. I don't think the sadness ever goes away completely, but my experience has been that in time, the wonderful memories (sweet, funny, silly, whatever!) heal some of the sadness.
Hugs to you, LQQKOUT.
Thanks he was a special guy in our family. I have two yorkies. One was really close to Zeus...he has been looking for him these past few days. Breaks my heart....
So the holidays were tough. Cried a few times. Hubby and I celebrated really low key this past holiday. 2012 was a rough year all the way around. Hubby had a dream her heard Zeus barking in the middle of the night. Woke him up in a dead sleep. I still feel I hear him walking on the tile in the kitchen or breathing when he us sleeping. Still miss him so much...it hurts.
