My protector and companion, Blau Geister Grau, (Blue) left me today to spend eternity in peace.

He was 18 years old, a large Weimaraner, and passed away sleeping on my feet as he liked to do.

After all he has fought, a massive infection came in and took over. It was time he went home.

Thanks CD friends for all your fine pet talk. I wish you and your pets well.

Judy

(((hugs)))

You obviously gave Blue an excellent, loving home. Eighteen years for a big dog is quite something.

Rest In Peace, Blue.

Your Blue is now with my Smokey, who crossed the bridge last year at age 18 1/2. They are now running and playing together, like young pups, no pain, just having fun...forever in our hearts.

I am so very sorry for your loss.

Oh Judy, the depth of feeling you and Blue had for each other just leapt off the screen at me. What a good long life he had...and never long enough. I wish you continued peace, and a happy reunion with him when that time comes.

I'm sorry for your loss, but 18 years is a long time for a Weimaraner. You must have taken great care of him! I'm sure he will always be thankful and remember his mommy.
