This morning, as I normally do, went downstairs to the cats out of the family room, I found Jack but I couldn't find Shadow. I found Shadow underneath the sofa passed on. He is now with us in our backyard. I don't know why, because he was perfectly healthly. He was a really nice boy who loved to 'hunt' by looking out the window, being held like a baby and always loved to jump up on to the top of the living room sofa when he was in the room and someone entered it. Shadow's biggest fears were eating in public, the vacumm cleaner and the kitchen ceiling fan. His partner in crime is competly obvilious. I had the pleasure of knowing him a little bit more than have of my life and this is killing me to write.
R.I.P Shadow 6/95-6/11/2008.

I'm sorry Shadow has passed on but I'll tell you what others have told me.
He has been greeted at the rainbow bridge by other kittys and will always be with you in spirit. Peace to you.

Shadow was a real cutie. We adopted him from a local animal rescue organization. He disappeared twice accidently to under the neighbor's deck, both times was found quickly and in good health.

I am SO sorry to hear about Shadow. I recently lost one of my babies so I know how you feel. My heart is still heavy. One thing I hope you can take solace in is that he wasn't sick so he didn't feel unwell. I had a cat named Tootles, he died in his sleep of a heart attack. Its better when its quick. TRUST ME.

I have had that same problem. My Rufus used to stand or sit in certain spots with his unflappable attitude.

I went and moved the furniture in literally EVERY room so I wouldn't be expecting to find him sitting there.
