My neighbors lost a loyal friend today. He was a quiet, nondescript kind of dog with great attitude and loving temperament. Many dogs demand attention, but Boomer was content to wait for you to notice him. Occasionally, when the other dogs had finished doing their "greeting" barks or dances, he would sneak his head under your hand for a quiet acknowledgment.
I used to ask him, "Doesn't it bother you that you don't have any papers or haven't earned any ribbons". Then he would get this faraway look in his eye, as if to say, "No, this is a great place to live. I've got a warm bed, the food's always on time, and I know they love me. In fact, it's my job to watch all the other more important dogs".
Based upon reliability and loyalty alone, Boomer has earned his place at the Rainbow Bridge. He will be standing at the back of the pack, because he's too polite to crowd in front of the other dogs. But don't worry Boomer. We will keep looking until we find you, because you were indeed, a special part of the family.
RIP Boomer! I bet he has earned the position as leader of a pack up there because of his noble, gentle ways here on Earth. I am glad to know he was so loved.
How sweet. Boomer sounds like a truly noble soul. At the rainbow bridge no pet is superior to another. And Boomer will be happy and carefree until his human friends come to get him again! RIP Boomer.

Sounds like a wonderful dog. I agree with luvmycat, I think Boomer will do okay at the other end of the rainbow bridge!
Our Lord has taken Boomer and he's now peacefully enjoying everlasting joy in a most beautiful garden
