I'm looking to do the front brakes on the wife's car this weekend and need a place that can turn rotors. I've called Advance and Autozone; neither store offers this service. I found a NAPA on Guess Rd that does it, but I really would like something a bit closer. Does anyone know a place? I'm in Woodcroft.

Thanks!

Mike

I hear you ... It seems to be getting harder to find a place to just turn rotors. Besides NAPA sometimes you can get a place that does brake jobs to turn them. But it can be a pain because they usually make you wait.

I typically just buy new rotors and sell the used ones as iron scrap. New rotors are (usually) fairly inexpensive and it seems that new cars have thinner rotors to start with than in the past making turning more problematic.

Got a carquest near you? Honestly for how cheap new rotors are, if you buy online you can often find them for the same price. I get a lot of stuff from RockAuto Auto Parts
