It IS hard to eat naturally. There are so few options for eating out, not that we can afford to eat out often anyway, but it sure would be nice to go for a treat.

I would put money on it that since they are advertising it as 'The Skinny Dip' that it is full of all kinds of unnatural stuff. Is that the one near Trader Joe's? Or is it a parent company name or something? The one in Crossroads is Marmalade Skies...

Apparently it's a Virginia Beach-based company.

All-natural is great, but I'm really looking forward to sugar free (I can handle not natural). I think both stores will offer sugar free options, so I can't complain (but I appreciate your point ).

From Marmalade Skies' Twitter: We will have sugar free! And our other flavors will be low in sugar as well. We will also have lactose-free frozen yogurt.

And they say their website should be up this week

If you want all natural, Local Yogurt in Durham and Raleigh claims that their yogurt is all natural (Well, their ingredients list... guar gum, carob bean gum & carrageenin. Are they natural? I dunno). I love Local Yogurt... it's worth the drive

[quote=Petunia16;14674483]guar gum, carob bean gum & carrageenin. Are they natural? I dunno).

I'm pretty sure those are plant-based thickeners. I don't think they are unhealthy (carob is actually a bean in the pea family. some people use it to replace chocolate. it's sweet -- Carob tree - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)
but I think they add a gummy taste to foods. I prefer my ice cream with milk, cream and sugar. Nothing weird.

Default The Skinny Dip-frozen yogurt bar in Cary

YUMMM!
Went there tonight because they offered our swim team members a BOGO deal. It was REALLY good if you're thinking about trying it out. It was very clean and the staff was friendly. They had several flavors (at least 8), one vegan-soy flavor (which I thought tasted pretty gross, partly because it was cotton candy flavored, but DD's friend liked it) and one sugar free flavor. I had dark chocolate and topping it with strawberries, a little hot fudge and some whipped cream. It was SO YUMMY!
They had a buffet of toppings and while there is a ton of candy for toppings, there was also plenty of fresh fruit and things like granola and nuts; basically something for everyone!
The only downside I could tell was that the line was so long tonight with only one cashier, my frozen yogurt was almost melted by the time I paid for it and you can't eat it while waiting to pay because you pay by the ounce.
But overall, it was really good.

I love this place - Marmalade Skies (behind the Lowe's near Crossroads, next to Moes) is the same concept. I alternate between the two
