We recently moved to the Durham area & as I am coming up on my time to donate blood again I'm having a hard time finding a local hospital with a blood bank. (I prefer to donate direct instead of using the Red Cross when ever possible.) Does anyone know of a local hospital with a blood donor center? Thanks!!

Maybe someone else can chime in but far as I know even Duke goes through the Red Cross

I think Duke does go through Red Cross. When I direct donated ( to a friend's son's bone marrow transplant) I donated at the Red Cross center. The boys (bone marrow donor and donee) were at Duke.
