Quietest, most fuel efficient solution will be using either 2 Honda 2000eu/2000eui in parallel, or the Honda 3000. They are not the most cost effective up front. Yamaha has a similar setup and I'm sure there are others nowadays who also offer the same.

Town & Country Hardware (at least the one on Cary Parkway) sells high quality, very quiet, Honda inverter generators.
