70's 80's clubs? (Charlotte, Durham: receptions, wedding reception, school)

We just moved to the area. The hubby and I are old school NY hustle/salsa dancers and are looking for a club or lounge to dance the night away. Any recommendations?

You might want to check out a few dance studios or such for ideas. Otherwise... we've got shagging at Red's (I think its still open??), line dancing at Longbranch or City Limits (moreso earlier in the evening), and swing dancing at the Durham Armory every other Saturday. I don't know of any 70s/80s clubs around... but you might find some 80s parties thrown by the college crowd. =0)

It may not be exactly what you are looking for but if you ever take a trip to Charlotte you can hit The Breakfast Club uptown. It's 3 levels and plays only 80s music.
