2:15 AM in the parking lot of a bar. Certainly seems like it could be a confrontation that started with alcohol or maybe a long running dispute got sparked up after seeing each otehr at the bar.
I hope we don't forget that someone died and not make too light of this. Just because they were out late doesn't mean they were doing anything bad. It does highlight that you really have to be careful everywhere and even a place like Brier Creek that has a great reputation still can have problems.
Did anyone ever find out what the details were? I never found a follow-up report on what the motivation was for the shooting.
