Sad but true. I'd love to see high speed or light rail in this area, but I give it another 30 years before anything productive with our local government occurs. They tend to take forever to "get it" and by the time they do they've already approved some implementation of "it" that doesn't quite make par so we have to spend more money to fix the problems or just live with them.

Norfolk Southern is having a community day today, 4-8pm at the Carson Street Yard Office.
