Croasdaile is a nice upscale neighborhood and I think you'd fit in fine with that demographic. It is comprised of older (20-40 year old) homes scattered around the golf course. The location is very convenient to I-85, the Durham Freeway, Duke Hospital and central Durham. Croasdaile, with neighboring Croasdaile Farms just north of Carver Street, is home to a lot of Duke physicians and other well-heeled citizens of the Bull City. I live close by and ride my bike through Croasdaile occasionally; it's always quiet and the lay of the land is nice with gently rolling hills, trees and the green of the golf course. The worst part of the neighborhood is the southern-most section, which is close enough to I-85 to pick up noise from the traffic rolling by at 65 mph.
