From their website it looks like an old fashioned general store that sometimes has music on the weekends. There is a band playing there this weekend and I am thinking of checking it out. Curious if anybody else on the forum has been there yet and what you think of it.

We used to live out that way, and I'm pretty sure it's pretty new. May or may not be much to look at.

However, if you are going to drive out that far on a Saturday afternoon, I'd strongly, strongly, strongly suggest you keep right on driving out to Saxapahaw and check out their farmers market/saturday evening concert. Very cool venue, lots of good grub, local very small farmers, cool little village and interesting old strip of buildings.

If you go to Sax you musr eat at the Sax General Store. Great food using ingredients mostly souced from local framers at very fair prices.
