Hello.

We are thinking of moving to an area where we will have a larger yard/privacy, so we've been looking at houses in Wake Forest and Youngsville. Last evening we looked at a house in Youngsville that has a completely green shower! Actually it was originally white, but the water had stained it green. There were some green stains in the toilet as well.

I researched it and apparently highly acidic water will do that... and the house has copper pipes. The house is about 10 years old.

Does anyone else with a private well have this problem? Is there anything that can be done? I loved the house, but this is a concern to me.

Thanks!

Yes, Kinetico makes the best Neutralizer on the market.

Ditto on Kinetico. There are other great water purifiers out there, too. They'll hard sell you, so just do your research first.
