We have been for over a year trying to locate a leak we can't seem to solve. After some google searching we came across the idea of thermal imaging. Has anyone ever done this? If so, did it help? Would you recommend who you used in the area?

What kind of leak are you looking for - gas, air, water, etc.?

There are machines that locate water leaks under concrete floors, etc. I had to have it done in another state once. $250!! I would think that any plumber could tell you who to call.

I've never heard of using thermal imaging for finding a water leak, but I looked it up and it does exist. I don't know how reliable it is. Personally, I would call a plumber.

I've seen it used for finding water under flat roofing and it works in that application. Unsure about your situation but it seems logical to me that it would work.
