I need to replace a chandelier in my two-story foyer, and it's almost 20 feet high. Any idea where I can rent scaffolding or a ladder tall enough for this? I checked with Ace and Home Depot, but no luck. And does anyone know how much this would cost? Thanks!

Or if anyone knows of a good handyman who can do this for us, let me know. That's another option we're considering.

I just performed this exact task today in NY (in preparation for our move to Raleigh in a couple of weeks). The ceiling height is about 18 feet. I rented a 16 foot step ladder from a local tool rental store and it worked out great. Just be aware that the ladder is large, so maneuvering it inside the house can be a little tricky - definitely a two person operation! I paid $18 for the day for the ladder.
