I've seen someone at the Durham Farmers Market on Saturday mornings that plays the violin. Perhaps you could set up at the Raleigh one?

Hey NRG, do you play in any of the local groups? My choral group is performing with Triangle Brass this Christmas. I'm a big brass fan. Son played euphonium in high school.

You might want to check with the Salvation Army. There used to be a lady who played cello at one of the kettle stations. She seemed to do much with the donations than those of us just ringing the bells.

That is awesome. I do think I saw you. Yes it was dead there. I arrived too early (it gets much busier around lunch). You must have arrived just after the cop spoke to me. I only played two or three more songs after he approached me.

Small world!

Very cool...I think I saw the cop talking to you as well...Sorry you cant take tips...sounds like a load of BS IMHO. I have been discovering downtown and many other places with my MC. I think Fayetteville St is one of my favorites...but I also like Glenwood Ave...and Hillsborough as well. Like all the college areas as well...Is that meet up in Sept still on?
