I know of the Super Wal-Mart off of Glenwood avenue but that takes about 30 minutes to even get there. Is there a Super Wal-Mart in Cary? I have been going to Harris Teeter to the grocery store and am tired of paying so much more then what things would cost at a Super Wal-Mart.

I use this one almost daily. It's a bit better lately but is rough and loaded with homeless and crooks.

There will be a new one soon by Super Target behind Triangle Town Center.

You could also try Food Lion. It's considerably cheaper than Harris Teeter.

Target at North Hills has now expanded the grocery section.....and selling produce as well. We seldom have to cross Six Forks now to go to the Teeter

My boyfriend lives near state and we usually go to the Target in Cary (they'll be carrying groceries in about a month). There's also a Walmart in Cary, but I hate it as much as I hate the one on Glenwood. The one in Garner is really nice, though, in comparison. Harris Teeter is about as pricey as it gets, so if you don't want to drive to Garner, try Food Lion or a Kroger.

Although Walmart in general is not my favorite store, by far, anywhere, on Friday I went to the one saturnfan references below.

I also went today.

I saw no homeless. I saw no crooks. (In the past week or two, I saw a few people begging with signs on the edges of the parking lot -- as many people in the Triangle have seen lately -- but they are no longer there, either.)

In fact, Walmart must have given their entire staff some updated customer service training.

I spoke to four employees (three when I was trying to find things and one cashier) today, and all of them went above and beyond to help me and were super-friendly.
