I have a 2 year old TORO gas edger/trimmer that will not start this season. When I prime 5 times, I do not see gas getting into the bulb at all. I took it to ACE HW in Morrisville and Apex Sales in Apex but both said they do not service TORO. One reason I had bought TORO is to make sure I get it to reopair/service nearby. I was wrong.

I am looking for place that do small engine repair. If you know any in Northwest Wake county please reply.

Thx

It is a little farther, but you might try Precision Power Equipment at 5227 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh 27606. 919-854-9122
At the rear of Burke Bros Hardware.

Jeff is a good guy, been at it a long time.

For everything Toro I love Clay's off of Wake Forest Rd. For repair if you have a Hudson's hardware near by. Very reasonable cost there. Call ahead and ask if it is worth having repaired. Some things like that aren't. You may want to try having it tuned every year.

My 2 year old Toro edger/string trimmer also had problems this year - the cord wouldn't pull. I took it to Sears. Ended up not repairing it - the cost was going to be only slightly less than the cost to replace it.

A second on Clay's. They do a yearly tuneup on our mower and it has been going for many, MANY years.

Amen to the yearly tuneup with them. I have a rider, self propelled, mini tiller all that I got from them and that they tune yearly. Small engines are notoriously difficult to start after they have been used. My blower and edger are throw aways as the saleman explained to me. When they break buy a new one. If you want one you can have repaired it will cost you more.
