My husband had seen an article recently in YAHOO.COM that I've tried to find and can't that lists the great things about Durham, NC for retirees. Can anyone shed light on what living is like in this city for 55+. He's older than me so I would still need to work in hotel sales. Is this a good locale or are there links that you can direct me to. I have also heard alot of positive things about Winston Salem, NC for retirees. Any info. is grealty appreciated.
There is not much going on in Winston. Now some people may really like that, others may not, but there isn't a whole lot to do. I would imagine that Durham will offer more in terms of restaurants, theater, art scene, etc.
The article that you are looking for was written by CNN Money. If you do a search on this forum for "Durham", you'll find it.
