"Happy Hour" is illegal here, but you will find plenty of places with specials. Some good places in Cary that we like to watch sports are Rudinos, Spirits, Mac's Tavern, Woody's, Rally Point, Harrisons, Carolina Ale House.

Say Whaaa! Happy Hour is illegal? Were you joking or is this part of an effort to keep down drunk and disorderly conduct? I'm not a big drinker, but have enjoyed meeting friends and coworkers at local establishments. Just asking!
Nope, not joking! That certainly doesn't stop bars from having daily specials and it definitely doesn't stop people from going to a bar after work with friends for a drink!

A: Drink specials must be offered from the time the business opens to the time it closes to not be in violation of ABC laws. Free drinks or reduced price drinks cannot be offered during limited hours. NCGS Rule. 2S.0232
