Have you considered doing it yourself? If it's just the seat bottoms that are upholstered, and it's just the fabric that you're looking to replace, then this is one of the easiest DIY furniture projects that you could do. The only tools you need are scissors, a stapler, and a screwdriver. Lots of how-to guides on the web. Just something to think about.
If you're looking to hire someone, call one of the furniture refinishing shops and see who they use. Most of them don't have in-house upholsterers, but contract that work out. Try Pender's Antiques:
Thanks for your responses... I am planning on getting a quote from Nix Upholstery today as they are the closest to me in Durham and my office in RTP...
I will report back if I have some good news and a good reference!

I drove by Nix this evening on my way to class. Please let me know the outcome--I have a child's rocking chair (was my hubby's when he was an infant) that needs repair work and reupholstery. Have been watching responses to your OP for recommendations!
I went to Nix yesterday and spoke to them. I normally get a good read on people and he seemed like a straight up good person.
The estimate was fair and was actually HALF of what Mumford Restoration in Raleigh was going to charge me!
They also were honest and recommended going through Not Just Linens in Durham to get my fabric as I would be able to get it cheaper there than through his shop. Got to love the honesty there!
