I held off buying it for this reason! But I caved in and have been eating mini twixx, I think the kids will be fine with the humongous bag of sour candy assortment I bought They really don't need to get hooked on Twixx

If there's no caramel, it doesn't belong in the top candy tier!

I think the reason the municipalities get involved at all is to control their scheduling of extra police presence. They can't make us celebrate on one day or another, or between certain hours, but if they can persuade us to be out at certain times, it makes their job easier.

If you look under WRAL.com you can find out. I just looked it up today for NC, we just recently moved here and found out some places change it to the 30th. Thank goodness my town doesn't. If it doesn't list your county just call your local police dept. and ask.

I was just at Triangle Town Ctr Mall and it was full of families with little kids Trick or Treating at each participating store. Belk's had someone at the front of the store giving out candy. The kids were adorable! Looks like a great place to take the younger kids.

I live in Holland, Michigan and according to our local newspaper our kids are only allowed to go trick or treating from 6pm - 8pm on Saturday Oct 30th. I'm voting all those city council people out of office!
