Can anyone help me out with the names of some neighborhoods that fall into the Green Hope High School bondary?
I am specifically looking for something that is mature and wooded. But also would need to have larger homes... we have 5 children! Any help is greatly appreciated!

I'm not familiar with that part of the county but I thought I would tell you that the school boundaries are being redefined right now by the board so keep that in mind. What is assigned there today could certainly be changed to a different school as the new assignment plan is created. They are supposed to be keeping a continually updated map of the zones on the Wake county school website. I would check it weekly. If you find a place you like, you can enter the address on the Wake county school site to get the node number. Look at the latest map of school zones and see which school that particular node is zoned to.

happyinorbit, I sent you a pm with a link to a local site that lets you search for houses based on which school it is currently assigned.

Here is the link to the wake county school site where you can plug in an address and find out which school it is assigned to: Determine School by Student Address

Good luck.

Being that the school boundaries ARE being re drawn as doctorj mentioned, I would try to find a neighborhood that is close by Green Hope HS. Since the boundaries are being redrawn to allow students to go to a "neighborhood school", the closer you live to the school, perhaps the better your chances of being sent to that school.

I'm biased, but you can't go wrong in Preston Village.

Actually, Green Hope is right on it's own boundary. the neighborhoods directly north of the school go to Panther Creek...which really isn't that far away.

Because I'm unemployed and have nothing better to do with my time, I used the shape tool to outline the Green HOpe district on my google map of Wake county, then you can search for sales and rental listings in the area. I have other districts outlined as well, they over lay each other.

All I can say is, I'm glad I'm not the cartographer for WCPSS.
