Has anyone heard of bandwidth upgrades coming to TWC in Cary? Tried U-Verse, but switched back because of television picture quality. Miss the internet upload speeds.

Time Warner road runner is really starting to suck..... speeds are bad and so behind times. There is NO excuse for max upload speeds to be capped at only 512! Thinking of switching back to ATT unfortunately. Anyone have ANY insight as to a network upgrade soon?

Thanks in advance!

Default Free upgrade

Ironically just last week I received an e-mail from TW advising that my bandwidth had increased. All I had to do was unplug my cable modem for about 15 seconds to allow the system to reset. Download hasn’t changed much but my upload is now around 1 Mbps which is an improvement from the 384 kbps I used to get.

I got the same email notice. Claims download speeds went from 7 mbps to 10 mbps.

I get 5.0MB upload with RR Extreme.
Uploaded 448 photos to Flickr this morning.

I believe standard RR is now spec'd at 10Mbs down/1 Mbs up. I'm not a huge TW fan either, but ...

My RR has always been decent. I just have the $40/mo. standard.

I received the letter from TWC, unpluged the modem and then plugged back in. now Speedtest.net test indicates:
Download speed 15.89 mbps and upload speed 0.97 mbps
