One of the owner's is from Myrtle Beach, and both owner's owned the 2 Outback's here in Raleigh for some time, so I'm sure it will be great!

Is that the place that smells like cigarette smoke? We went in there one time when it was empty, in the afternoon, and the cigarette smell emanating from the place made our eyes water. We had to leave.

Their nachos are to die for. I had a steak in there once that was better than ANY steak restaurant.

Its another one of those places the locals like to hang out.

Looks like the new Shuckers is open. I like that it appears to have a ton of outdoor seating. I hope to check it out soon.

If you like crabs too, check out Backfins in Wake Forest. Very good crab shack. Their flounder and shrimp are also yummy.

I really liked the old location, however, I stopped going when they switched from real butter to an oil substitute. There is a definite difference. I doubt they have switched back, but will be interested to try.

(As an aside, I was in the other new WF seafood joint, the Seafood Shack, last night at about 7:30. I was the only one in there. Hopefully this is not a sign of business to come.)

Yeah....the parking lot is never crowded when I go by at prime times either. Maybe they are waiting to pick up when the rest of the complex it is in is finished being redone.

As for the place....tried it once...it was okay, but nothing I will head back to in a hurry....no atmosphere, foods okay but not outstanding, staff is again...okay, but nothing to rave about.

We drove by Shucker's the other night and the place was packed. We plan to check it out soon.
