Does anyone have a link or knowledge of places in Raleigh where people can take advantage of early voting?

Please.

NC Early voting locations

There's a link for one-stop (early) absentee voting on the right.

I went today in Apex, just after they opened at 11AM. Quite a turnout - I had to stand in line for about 20 minutes.

We just came back from early voting and the turnout is huge. The people working the polls said they can't believe how heavy and steady it is.

I am quite upset that they do not ask for any identification when voting. I could simply get a phone book and go to each voting site and claim I was someone different and as long as they did not vote I could vote for them.

I had that same concern the first time I voted early several years ago.

I agree, but I do wonder if advertising this on an internet forum is the way to go. It does nothing but spread that option to those who might be willing to do so.

An ID is not required to vote in NC. See:

How do they verify the voting is as it should be if they don't verify we are who we say we are?
