Aw, what a great story - and photo! I'm glad you rescued him.

By the way, if you use safflower seed in your feeders, the squirrels will leave them alone. They don't like it, but all kinds of birds do. The seed is a bit more expensive, but since you're not losing all the seed to squirrels (not to mention replacing the feeders), you'll end up spending less money.

This is such a great story. Maybe now the squirrels will leave your feeders alone (karma). You might consider submitting to Wildlife in NC magazine...

if you were a real animal lover you would have attempted CPR on him!

I don't like squirrels but I am glad he was rescued.
