So I finally moved somewhere that has a (small) outdoor space again. I'm looking for cute but cheap decorations and furniture for the little slab of patio I have. I know it's a bad season for it, but I really want it to look cute and homey. I checked Target and Walmart but there wasn't really anything. Also checked Carolina Pottery but all the furniture was way out of my price range. Are there obvious stores I'm missing? (Go easy on me )! I'm thinking potted plant type things, windchimes, etc. and maybe a two seater table.

How about a wagon-wheel table, a neon beer sign, and a kegerator?

Lovebrentwood, thanks for the PM! I've been dying to check out Durham Rescue Mission's huge store in Brier Creek so maybe they will have some outdoorsy things, too.

Newuser, I would not live down a wagon wheel table. My boyfriend has the most awful barrel furniture for his kitchen that I give him crap about daily lol. And I gotta say, the beer paraphernalia just isn't me..... I'm more into flowery things, pretty colors, and cats lol .

We got a cute set for our balcony at HomeDepot.com. (it was called Rachel I think... had great reviews)

For $69.99 we got 2 cute metal chairs with cute cushions and a glass topped small table.

I had been looking at Bistro sets etc but they were way too pricey... this set is great- we love it and use it every day!

Great ideas! Thanks! I remember drooling through Homegoods about a year ago, so I will definitely have to go back.

big lots & also perhaps world market? also, the habitat reuse center does have stuff, but i doubt they'd have any now but if you're over that way it couldn't hurt to check.

Whereabouts is the Mission's store in Brier Creek? If someone can give me a pointer which direction to search...I've been there a couple of times to visit Home Goods, and am not familiar with all the other stores there.
