Sorry to have dropped off the face of the earth. I have been living with friends in Raleigh, plus managing the summer schedules that we had arranged with the kids, plus all the dr and eye exam, etc., before we actually move....Plus continued job search daily.
Right now I am in Indiana, about to pick up my youngest to go back to Michigan to be fitted for a retainer. Still waiting to hear on jobs--done phone interviews and in-person interviews, and I really, really want to work for one particular research organization near RTP. I spent some time in Raleigh looking at schools and neighborhoods. The housing is definitely more affordable around Leesville schools, so we will probably make do there for the first school year. However, I NEED A JOB OFFER, SO I CAN SIGN AN APT. LEASE, SO THAT I CAN REGISTER THE KIDS IN SCHOOL!!!!
Arg. I hate waiting.
Thanks for the info--I'm not closing doors on Cary, yet. Oh, I got to drive on the brand new section of 540--nice for getting to RTP. Nice!
