I am moving to Raleigh from Cleveland, OH and am looking for a preschool for my 2 and 5 year old. Their current school has a great academic program with once per week Spanish and music classes;a naturalist visits the school once per month. There is also a wonderful playground with a spray park and a large flower/vegetable garden that the children tend during the summer. It's a wonderful place. I am having a difficult time finding a comparable place in Raleigh. Much of Raleigh's daycare appears to be franchised and lacking. Is there a comparable place here? Please help.
are you moving to Raleigh or is that shorthand for another city in the Triangle? asking because I don't know raleigh, but am familiar with some schools in Durham/Chapel Hill....
Please let us know to which town or city you are looking to move. The Triangle is quite large and there are many preschools in the area. I think that would help others give you better advice. Good luck!
there are TONS of pre-schools - lots of churches have preschools. The YMCA used to have a preschool - not sure if they still do. Chesterbrook academy has a preschool. Lots of the daycares transition kids into preschool at a certain age.
Lots of options available - but more detail needed. where area are you looking at? what hours are you looking for? etc.
