Anyone know a good winter sports shop, or at least a store with a decent selection of sleds and or snowboards?>

I saw someone coming out of Ace Hardware with sleds the other night....the one in the Morrisville Market shopping center. I never would have thought to look in a hardware store!

My sister got some in Dick's before Christmas but the inventory was low then.

Bed Bath and Beyond had some awhile back. So did Toys R Us, but I'll bet they're out by now. I bought our sleds back in October to make sure we had them on hand if needed.

Target had a few things, not real snowboards but a few sleds and "tubes". We got our "saucer" (works well on lower accumulations) at Ace (in MOrrisville). For a real sled I'd go order one online NOW and hope for more snow this winter!

ps: Also try calling Learning Express and also the new toy store in Cornerstone--Brilliant Sky I think it is.

FedEx one from the North Country. They always have a great inventory of sleds, saucers and toboggans (and not for the head).

If you want real snowboards, nobody beats the selection of Vertical Urge in Raleigh if you want a local store.
