Everyone seems to say home depot is the cheapest but about 10 years ago when I lived in the area I bought good carpet from a warehouse in smithfield at about 29cents.

This time I'm looking for hardwood and maybe low quality carpet as well and that place has long gone out of business. Home depot seems a bit pricey.

Surplus Warehouse

Habitat ReUse Center (not likely, but it doesn't hurt to check)

Yes.

Also, when I bought my laminate and vinyl from Thad's Carpet One on Atlantic Ave in Raleigh, they told me they would match anyone's prices.
